Bird toys are the second most important item for your bird (food being the first). All of our toys have been tested by our birds, our customers birds, and our strict interviews with our toy manufacturers.
Although it is difficult to organize toys, we have done so using the major function or material of the toys. Remember that parrot toys ARE MEANT TO BE DESTROYED! If a bird toy last longer than one or two months, it was not enjoyed by your parrot (unless it is made from acrylic or stainless steel). Always try new toys, and always have at least three toys inside the bird cage on one or two on your bird stand. If you notice your bird constantly scraping at the metal portion of the toy (chain, c-clamps), then you should buy stainless steel c-clamps, and only buy toys that have the finest quailty, non-flaking metal chain to prevent metal poisoning.
And don't always get the same toys - observe which type of material our bird loves to destroy, and try other toys made of similar material. Once a month, rotate the toys, remove some, add some, keep them entertained!
You should absolutely definitely try the sisel or rope "Boings" and swings - most parrots absolutely love them and get hours of excercise and enjoymnet from the "Boings" and swings. (For even more fun, hang another toy right in the middle of the "boing"!
