Always remember that parrots forage for their food. That means you need to keep food interesting - try different treats, hide it in toys, make it interesting for them.
We generally recommend a diet consisting 70% pellets and 30% seeds, nuts, grains, and table food. If you do not feed your parrot pellets, then you should supplement their diet with a good avian vitamin.
As far as the seed portion of the diet, we recommend Goldenfeast blends and our own Golden Sunflower Blend and Golden Organic Fruit and Nuts.
Some birds, like Eclectus and African Greys, have special dietary requirements. Macaws need more fat in their diet and should be offered almonds, walnuts, and Macademia nuts.
