This cage has a durable plastic base, slide out grill, slide out tray, open-top, 3 stainless steel food dishes, and also includes a stand with a shelf and casters, and 2 dowel perches. It ships in 1 box.

The powder coating has been tested and is bird safe. The are no exposed nuts on the inside of the cage, like many other cages you will see advertised. Instead, the nuts are embedded inside the cage tubes to make the assembly easy; just screws are required to build the cage, not nuts or bolts. Also, this construction keeps it safe so the birds can not unscrew the nuts inside the cage nor be exposed to the uncoated metal hardware. As a result, this cage is a much better value than other, cheaper and less safe knock-offs you will find on other sites.

The powder coating finish on these HQ cages is also much better, more glossy, and therefore easier to clean than the other Cages you may see listed, and the welding is also much more consistent with no gaps where the bars are welded onto the cage tubing.

This is a perfect cage for all Parakeets, Lovebirds, Parrotlets, Cockatiels, Green Cheeked and Senegal parrots, and all similarly sized birds. It is an acceptable sleeping cage for African Greys and Amazons but is not suitable for a full time cage for these larger parrots.
