Ian Brown is also a Certified Avian Specialist, the highest level of professional certification available for the pet industry. In 2004 Ian became an owner of Golden Cockatoo after many successful years as our store manager.

Ian cares for Axel, a Hawk Head Parrot. Ian has over fourteen years experience handfeeding and grooming Parrots, as well as being skilled in identifying finches and their sex. Having worked with birds for over 14 years, he is very knowledgeable about bird behavior, diets, diseases, and selecting the right parrot for a great home.

Ian has an incredible amount of energy and enthusiasm, which translates into a huge customer fan club. Maybe you'll be lucky and get a chance to speak with him next time you drop by! He is shown here with a Blue Fronted Amazon and a Yellow Naped Amazon.
