After returnimg to us after a two-year sabatical to Parrot Jungle (Miami, FL, she has again left, this time to move to Texas.
The experience learned through her working one-on-one with Dr. Susan Clubb, Parrot Jungle's Vet (Dr. Clubb is one of the world's most respected Board Certified Avian Veterinarians), has helped Laura better identify potential parrot health issues and physiology, as well as understand the ramifications of medical treatment.
She has set up our in-house breeding program of small bird including canaries, lovebirds, cockatiels, Green-cheeked conures, and budgies. As well, she has been instrumental assisting Rick with this (new) website.
Laura cares for Max, an Umbrella cockatoo, and has too many finch, conures, parrotlets and lovebirds to mention. As well, her Moluccan Cockatoo, "Larry Bird," is a member of the education program at, and is on loan to, Parrot Jungle.
