American Yellow Parrotlet

Parrotlets are the world's smallest parrots - little parrots with big personality! They are also sometimes called "pocket parrots" because of their miniature size.

Despite their appearance, Parrotlets ARE parrots and they have the intelligence and vocal abilities of many larger birds. They may learn to say a few words, though it will be very hard to hear them speak if they are not on your shoulder. They have tiny voices to match their tiny bodies - a very good thing for families living in apartments. Another benefit of Parrotlets is their smaller cage requirement.
