You have found a website that is truly different from nearly all other websites selling parrots, parrot cages, parrot toys, parrot playstands, and parrot food: we actually own and operate a retail exotic bird store in Florida that has been in business for over 24 years!
What does that mean to you?
Every Item has been Tested: We have first hand experience selling every item and parrot listed on our site. We offer only items that are safe and appropriate for your parrot. We seek out the very best values and newest products in the industry, test them on our parrots, and then (if the products become popular and receive positive feedback from both our staff and our retail clients) we list them here. So, we have many more items in the store than we show here, but have tried to show you only our very best sellers on this website.
Experience: You can now view many videos of most of our parrots, and we will continue to add more videos of all items to show and describe to you EXACTLY what the item is and how it should be used. Since you, the online buyer, cannot touch, feel, or smell items online we hope to give you valid information so that you can make an informed purchase.
Knowledge: If you need to call us (954-725-0088) you will be speaking to a fellow bird owner who understands parrots, not someone reading from a script. There are three Certified Avian Specialists working at the Golden Cockatoo, along with many other knowledgeable employees. Our staff is always happy to help with any questions, comments, or concerns you might have.
